One Dress, Four Ways

I am all about shopping my closet and reworking items to create more outfits.  I've learned that having more items doesn't mean more outfits.  Working with what I already have has been a fun challenge for me and I love coming up with new ways to wear things.

Take this basic brown dress.  I've simply added different layers, scarves and boots to create four completely unique looks.  Even one simple change can create a different look.  A chambray shirt, a denim jacket and a sweater are basic items already in my closet to add diversity.

  1. One can do so much with a classic LBD, especially if you add denim and/or leopard to it. Love each way you styled this Stephanie but the 2nd and 4th outfits are my favorites. Great minds think alike also because I also have a Remix Post going on today. Check it out! Thanks!

    Happy Thanksgiving Mamma!

P.S. I just joined you on Bloglovin and Pinterest. Hope you support me back and follow also. Thanks.

  8. It takes a lot more skill to remix items you already own than to just go out and buy new stuff so way to go!! My favorite is how you styled it with the chambray shirt!!

  10. I love posts like these! I love how you threw on a sweater over top your dress! I am planning on doing that over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend! It makes the dress so much more versatile if you can make it into a skirt too! Thanks for sharing!

  12. Great ways to remix a dress! the second and forth looks are my favourites :)

I find it fun trying to think of different ways to wear things too - get more value for money the more you rewear things as well! :)

  18. Yes! I love remixing. I like how you turned your dress into a "skirt" for two of them. I need to steal that idea from you. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I finally made time to catch up on my fav blogs.
